On Gopashtami Go- Puja (cow puja) is done and frash grass and delicious food is offered to the cows, along with nice cloths and necklaces, The devotees are decorating the horns of the cows and singing many Bhajans and Kirtans to Lord Govinda- Gopala.
In places where there are no cows one can worshop a statue or a picture of a cow.
